This photo was taken 3 years ago.  Tonight is the full moon, but it has raining so hard and I am cold.
I am in pain.
Tired of hurting.

Ok, so I'll give people a little update and I hope tomorrow will be more normal for photo taking, too.

Yesterdays CTScan actually went smoothly, but I clearly had a very negative response to the contrast.  I spent most of the night last night wondering if I was dying, whether I was catching a flu, or whether it would all pass soon.  I threw up around 6 a.m. and had no pain until 5 this afternoon a few hours after I had finally let myself eat something.  I'm drained.  I hate being sick and I am so full of distrust for the medical world again.   I long for Dave Johnson.  

So, as I said I hope I feel better tomorrow and can get stuff done and do my normal routine.  I'll let you know tomorrow night.

March 20, 2026 Happy Happy Birthday, Clara Witty! Happy Spring.  Oh yes, we're ready for it. The difference between the rookery today and yesterday was big.  I was hoping a photo from each day would show the difference, but it doesn't.  There was much more open space today, but it showed mud not running water.  The running water continues in this stream across the whole thing.   So last night I did begin to think about starting a thread about preparing for death.  In our society that's such a negative statement, but in reality its positive.  Learning to talk about this stage of life, the stage I have just entered is healthy and helpful.   What has brought all this up for me is that I went through a series of tests looking for the cause of the pain I am in and the results are frightening.  They are not immediate, but they show the beginning of the deterioration of my body.  We're not supposed to talk about this stuff, but I had ...
