Happy Birthday, Billy Arcand.   I think I just like saying Billy Arcand.



I actually did a tiny bit of work this morning.  I am in a lot of pain and my brain is foggy, but I did some linear tasks, got some logistics completed.



About 1:30 Jo picked me up and we went to the concert in Turners.  It was sunny, a little breeze and 74 degrees.  Couldn't have been more perfect.  




There may have been 100 people there.  A huge percent of them were from our writers; community.  So nice to see people come out and support Paul who puts so much into supporting all of us.  It was a sweet concert.  At the end the cheering section got up and danced.  



 



Jo and I went and got some tacos, I took a little nap, and Patrick showed up and we went to the rookery.  I'm debating whether I should get back in the car and watch the sunset or if this is all enough.   I think it's enough.

March 20, 2026 Happy Happy Birthday, Clara Witty! Happy Spring.  Oh yes, we're ready for it. The difference between the rookery today and yesterday was big.  I was hoping a photo from each day would show the difference, but it doesn't.  There was much more open space today, but it showed mud not running water.  The running water continues in this stream across the whole thing.   So last night I did begin to think about starting a thread about preparing for death.  In our society that's such a negative statement, but in reality its positive.  Learning to talk about this stage of life, the stage I have just entered is healthy and helpful.   What has brought all this up for me is that I went through a series of tests looking for the cause of the pain I am in and the results are frightening.  They are not immediate, but they show the beginning of the deterioration of my body.  We're not supposed to talk about this stuff, but I had ...
