1st Sunday, first time I've read in several months.  It was a good reading today.  Linda was one of the featured readers.  There is a small collection of authors whose books I want, this is one.

There are two new shows in the gallery this month.  This installation is a new one by JuPong.  I'll try to actually photograph it the next time I'm in the center, but if you are around, stop by and see it.  

We  had 23 people read today out of 27 people there.  It was good to see people.  There were a couple of new people today who read whose stuff I appreciated.

I couldn't stay to the end so I couldn't tell people I appreciated it, but it felt good to be surrounded by the community.

 

After words I went and bought a Wendy's chicken sandwich meal which I haven't done in 5 years.  I loved eating it and then hated having eaten it.  I'm so on the precipous of addiction at the moment.  I'm so amazed at how captured I am by it.   I want so much to lose the unsafe falling feeling and no matter how much I know food will not take it away, I just am stuck

I went on up to the rookery.  There are so many songbirds in the canopy.  I did see the yellow warbler today and I think I was photographing a flycatcher.  

Patrick called while I was up there and asked me to join him at China Gourmet so I went and had some chicken wings and caught up with his week.  Of course having dinner with a friend always feels so nicely  civilized, so even though it was more food and two huge glasses of water, it was nice to be with a friend. 

I have a pretty easy next couple of days and then Wednesday through Saturday are booked.  But the best thing of all is the pool, tomorrow I am back to the pool.  Oh, thank God.
