Margie brought Eliza to see me today.  I loved it.  Thank you, Margie.

We drew pictures of our dreams, we told stories, we drew other pictures and Eliza was composing a story while I wrote it down.  We picked teams of marbles, we picked dandelions. Marg and I got some catching up done and I soaked in my great niece's energy and being with my sister.

The yard was full of violets, dandelions, Indian paintbrush, Quince, and grass.  It reminded me of the days when EJ and Rachel would play back here.  It's a great space.  I need a table out here and to clean off the porch table.  Time to start living outdoors again.

After the Y I went to see the cardiologist.  I really do find the heart fascinating.  My heart is young and healthy.  It needs to be reset so I will have a procedure done to reset it.  Why or when it went into AFib we do not know, we just know its in good shape and there is no blockage.  The doctor was optimistic and really supportive.  I left very relieved.  I celebrated with a shrimp cocktail.

I went up to the rookery at about 4.  What a beautiful day, how perfect can you get?  Bird count was not high, but, vulture, hawk, c merganser, Canada geese, wood duck, red wing black bird.  Heard a red bellied woodpecker and plenty of jays and crows and I saw chickadees and song sparrow while I talked on the phone with Annie, and watched a deer walk along the back (you can see her if you look carefully).

I also watched kingfishers do their thing in front of me.  They weren't close enough for me to capture.  And swallows were around.

Thursday I see the urologist and I am much more worried about my kidney than I was my heart, but I think that is partially due to my knowing more about the heart than the kidneys.  I'll do some research to comfort myself.

Eliza's family watched the space adventure together and she had incorporated a space travel machine into her story with me today.   I let her take her story home before I wrote it down.  We'll have to do a small book together the next time I go and visit.
