Happy May Day
Gas was as high as $4.79 a gallon today.
I saw a crow flying with a mouse in his beak. Does that make sense to you?
I bought ice cream and had a half cup for the the first time in about 4 years.  So far I'm not dead.

There was a student walk out today and kids read speeches in  the common about their voices needing to be heard.  It wasn't the size of last few demonstrations but the teen voice was well represented and documented.  My timing was both perfect and just off when I got out of the Y.  I got stuck behind Officer Zoe which was both good and a pain.  But I did photograph it.

I got to the Y.  I was in pain, but so glad to be there and it really helped.  I got a hot tub in and I got some time to feel as though I belonged.

Then I got some lunch and it was then time to go to sleep, which I did.  When I got up I went to the rookery and I did a lot of writing and some work up there.  My car is big enough to be an ok size office. It's very pleasant.

I'm thinking about death and the  timing of death, can there be a right time?  Is there a wrong time?  Probably more so then a right time.   Can we just pass into death?  Does there have to be a process or a large segue of some sort, or can one just move into gone?  And is our death just ours?  Or like our births, do we share it?

I hung out at Beacon for an hour or so and watched all these single vignettes that were so endearing.  I watched these two walk their kites like they were on leashes.  They were laughing so hard and just happy.

The little wren was a great illustration of fragile and strong in existence together.

I watched 2 big dogs and their teen human run all over the park completely free, chase a squirrel up a tree, do circles around each other and although not legal, so free.

By the time it was full moon rising time the sky was filled with clouds.  I saw no moon rise tonight, just enjoyed, slowly, a half cup of ice cream.
