Spent a very sweet evening with old friends of EJ's

I'm trying to remember if 2019 was a year I kept a blog. Seems to be right in the middle of two.  Well in 2019 EJ was a senior at PVRHS and heavily into the theater and music departments.  He and Nina Bocko did many performances together including double parts in Wizard of Oz.  They all carried out a huge undertaking and were superb at it.

Nina is a senior at Smith and was part of a senior art show this week.   EJ and I went down today to see her piece.  I'm sorry I didn't save her statement to put in the blog.  It would have been interesting for people to read.

I photographed every rehearsal of Wizard of Oz where 3 of these guys, who were young, held lead roles.  Now, 7 years later we got together for some dinner and I was amazed at how sweet they all still are.  Tony was the kindest 15 year old, he went out of his way to open doors for me.  He did today, too.  Made me happy.
The 4th member of this crew is Maddy who worked with me at LAVA.  She and Nina have been friends since they were tiny.  Just really nice for me to be with them all.

I don't know the name of the artist who did these paintings, but I loved them.
The gallery was inside Hillyer Hall next to the art museum.  It felt so big.  I'm used to these intimate galleries, but I have to tell you, good light is everything.

We went down into Northampton and ate Japanese.  Thanks you all for including me.

I did get the results from the ultrasound today and they are a  little worrisome.  I think I have to go back to school and take a course on Anatomy and Physiology to understand this medical  journey of mine.  I'm not sure why I never knew how the kidney was designed before tonight, but I don't think I did.
Grateful
I am grateful tonight for
nice, kind human beings who I am surrounded by.
I am grateful.
