Yesterday was my close friend, Herb's, birthday.  I walked around all day thinking, whose birthday is it?  Then today at lunch an old colleague came into the Wagon Wheel and one of the first things she said to me was have you seen Herb?.   Bingo, birthday, my brain lit up.  AHHHHH.

Definitely a good day, mainly cause I  got to spend  time with Dina and  I got some time with  E.J.  What more could I want?

The light was not good for taking photos, but it was fun anyway.   Before I met Dina I ran some errands and I took loops through fun photo places.  The threat of rain was a constant, but it didn't stop me from trying. I went to the Cove and when I left Gill I drove up Main Rd which is always got something to catch my eye.  Today my favorite Sycamore was hidden in shadows looking wonderful

Dina and I discussed Caring Circles today and how it is smart to create them too early rather than  to wait and find out you can't do it.  I  need to hold onto this house.  Life is not going to get less expensive and especially housing, so to follow through and make this place viable asap is my first goal.

I picked EJ up at work  and we went for a little drive, we went looking for beavers.  Found a couple of lodges, but no four footed rodents.

What I did see today in my travels is birds,   big birds. I saw a Snowy Owl flying through the corn fields on Main Rd.  He was white, startling white against the snow covered field.  I was so thrilled.   And the Warwick Rd. red tailed was high up in a tree.

I saw several crows and I believe a piliated fly by at the cove.  Up above the rookery there was a gang of turkeys.

It was almost sunset when I took photos of the Berkshires, but everything appeared as though  it was all in black and white.  One wouldn't know it was sunset, and believe me we are not seeing the moon rise tonight.
