I'm burning frankincence in your honor.  

And I meditated on crow for a time.

We embrace our time with you in person and are grateful for an awful lot of great memories.

For the most part today was a simple day.  It was great to be in the pool.  OMG, it is so important to be out of gravity's power, well, not really, but it feels that way.  Hanging straight up and down in the water, let all those joints lengthen, paradise.  

And then I had therapy where I can say aloud what I'm thinking and get reasonable feed back.  I can say things in a way that organizes my own head and allows me to take in more.  And it accepts the fact that creating is a strategy for dealing with stress and depression.  

Went to the Coop, did the puzzle, hung out with friends and was very pleasantly surprised by Gerard coming down and visiting for awhile. Made me so pleased.  I really have been missing him. 

I was given three new meds this week.  I don't know if my body thinks that's ok.  I felt exhausted by 4 today, bone tired.  I want my GP to double check whether they all work together and to help create a time table for taking pills.  I'm becoming a bad song.  

I drove up the hill at 6:30 to watch the sunset.  What was inspiring though was the animal world, it was acting out my "whose hidden in there" children's book concept.   This red tailed flew right in front of me and coasted along the road.  Then he just modeled for me.

I saw several herds of deer.  There was a little one just at the top of Sherry's driveway.  I stopped and watched them all cross the road and go up the neighbor's driveway.

And the rookery was completely melted, no snow left, no ice left.  It was only 39 degrees, but very clear.   I looked back in my photos and it was 2 years ago, the day Chris passed, that I saw a heron at the rookery for the first time that year.  There were none tonight.  They are on their way though.
