I had an interesting day. primarily because it was 1st Sunday, but I also had a good ride this afternoon.
Nina was a featured reader at 1st Sunday today. She read an interesting assortment of different pieces, both prose and poetry. Good to hear her.
I did not read today, I don't think I wrote anything in the past couple months that is in a readable state. Most everything I've written is still journal entry and not fit for human consumption. Maybe by April I can have some new stuff.
After the event I went on up to the rookery. It was four so the sun was a little too far down , but there were some interesting shadows.
The were places where the ice and snow had created holes in the pond. They looked like they had collapsed in. There weren't otter prints to and from them. The prints seemed to be deer. But there weren't a lot of them either. The rookery has just not been a place of high activity in the past month.

But soon, it used to be that the herons would arrive the 3rd week in March. We'll see what comes this year.
So I need to get all of the banking done before I go into eye surgery. I have to stay very focused this week and I have to admit I get distracted by the medical stuff and lose my focus. I can't do that this week, I need to complete the tasks on my desk.
The other thing that is distracting me is these longs fb posts about historical moments; I get caught and I read several of them in a row. I might as well be watching TV. I actually wonder whether at this point having a TV would be healthier.
This tree came down somewhere and was brought here by something with wheels. It just appeared today. I'm going to photograph the same spots as many days as I can this month and see if there are patterns I've seen before.
