Today I  took the sunset ride backwards; it is an entirely different ride.  I never get this view of the barn  when I drive from the rookery.  It was all beautiful tonight.

I  left around 9:15 to go to the Y.  I was  so  happy, it's been a week.  I felt like  I hadn't seen my friends in a month.  I think that stopping the Tylenol and trying the Neproxican has really helped.  I did not feel so immobile today.  And the  water was perfect.

EJ met me there and he worked out.  I then took him to an appointment and  ran him home.  By the time I got back to have lunch I thought I'd already had a full day and it wasn't 2:30.

I  took a late nap and then I went on my  ride.  It was 5:15 when I went up the hill so I decided to do it backwards and be at the top for sunset.   The colors were entirely different. This view of the Berkshires was less detailed but soaked in light.  As  I passed the beaver  pond there was more shadow than usual, but then as I went up the hill, the barn appeared.

And the moon had started to come down, too.  We are almost back to full.

I got nothing completed this week.  But  I think I've pulled  out of the low  I  was stuck in.  I have to remind myself that I am not ruled by weeks vs weekends to get a lot of stuff done.  I have an entire weekend in front of me that I can use.

I went to the art show closing tonight at LAVA.  I miss my friends.   I don't miss the  responsibility, but I do miss the gang. And it is hard to live without the routine.  It was great to see Charlie.  I hadn't seen him since his birthday in early January.  I'm glad I went over.

I also haven't been downtown after dark in a while, or maybe I just haven't walked out onto the street lights.  The town doesn't seem to want to take down the holiday lights.  It felt crowded up there tonight.  There were no parking spots.  This is all good.  People were out doing things on this Friday evening.

March will begin and come in and blast us, and then it will act like a rollercoaster and take us out of winter and into spring right through mud season.   I didn't even know what mud season was until I moved to Vt.  Wilton, Ct. is not known for mud, it's not really known for snow, although when I was a kid, we had plenty of snow.

Clara has  taken over many of my responsibilities at LAVA.  Tonight she was representing LAVA with Charlie behind the front desk.  Jo dropped by to say hi, too, so we hung out for an hour.  It was sweet.  Tomorrow I will go to the program.  I'm looking forward to it.
