Happy Birthday, David.
Sorry we are in snow land instead of Massachusetts coast line summer. Although I know you have more fun in it than I am able.   Glad you get to go out in it.

Meanwhile, I'm back on the track of taking my ride to photograph the world.  Again, there were no birds anywhere.  Where have all the birds gone?  Long time waiting.

But I did see beauty and I did get to feel movement.

My friend Dina sent me a bunch of information about setting up a will and medical  instruction for family and proxy.   I just printed it all out and am going to go through  the workbook she sent me.   I'm excited.  May sound grim, but I don't think it is.  I'm single, I have family, but no children, I think it's important I have all of the paperwork complete in case of an accident and because I've reached a certain age.  I don't think I'm old, but I've tipped past middle-age, and like my life, my death won't be standard or fit into clean boxes, so I better have it in order.

The rookery was 35 today and covered in new snow and new prints, too.  There were lots of trails across the pond.  I don't think any of them were otters, they didn't have that stomach glide throughout.

Actually there were no swans in the Cove today, either. The canal was blocked off, so I couldn't go see the ice.  But it was just nice to be out and around.

They say the blizzard of 26 is coming tomorrow.  We'll see.  I kind of don't think I need to go anywhere for a while.  I'll go to the Y with EJ tomorrow and maybe write outside.  And then take him home and plan on staying home til Tuesday.  My thumbs are so arthritic I can hardly pick the shovel up and I certainly can't use it.   Ahh Life.
