What a nice day? 


EJ took my photo to send to Annie just as we got home from our adventure.  Lindy in her new car.



I didn't get photos of any of the people.  EJ and I met Sarah and Billie at Monsoon Bistro for lunch and had a really nice couple hours laughing and eating good food.  I had Massoman Curry with duck.  YES.  


It really was a nice meal and the people who work there were very gracious and kind.  I don't know why I feel like its been a long time since I've done something kind of different and special, but I'm free, I have a car.  I got to see family and to be with my pal.  Quite nice.







We hung out with the animals for a while this afternoon.  They are delightful and attentive.  





Through most of the hanging out time we got to watch Nash print and hang some of their work.  They are printing off a cut board they have carved that is 13 feet 5 inches long by 21/2 feet wide.  I really wanted to be there to photograph the process, but at least I got to watch it.  In May I will go to their Senior show.   I'm really fascinated in this process at the moment and hope to do a couple prints myself soon.

On my way home I went over to Just Roots Farm to watch the sunset.  It wasn't very interesting at this point, although many small trees looked see through, like ghosts.   The skies were so blue all day, but my ride home clouded up fast.   


And now I will make a little dinner.  I feel quite content this evening.  It's been a whilie.

March 20, 2026 Happy Happy Birthday, Clara Witty! Happy Spring.  Oh yes, we're ready for it. The difference between the rookery today and yesterday was big.  I was hoping a photo from each day would show the difference, but it doesn't.  There was much more open space today, but it showed mud not running water.  The running water continues in this stream across the whole thing.   So last night I did begin to think about starting a thread about preparing for death.  In our society that's such a negative statement, but in reality its positive.  Learning to talk about this stage of life, the stage I have just entered is healthy and helpful.   What has brought all this up for me is that I went through a series of tests looking for the cause of the pain I am in and the results are frightening.  They are not immediate, but they show the beginning of the deterioration of my body.  We're not supposed to talk about this stuff, but I had ...

  December 11, 2025 I got to see all three of my siblings this year, what a treat.  Also, I got to see all three spouses, double treat.  I only saw 2 of the next generation and then 4 of the next generation.  I guess we just don't live all that close any more and I have a hard time making it to holidays or doing any traveling at all. It was another day of no photography and no creative writing.  I did get some work done and I did go to LAVA, but my time of loneness was spent organizing the have to's in my life.  I also was in touch with many friends and making sure all were well.  All were well.  So again I offer no insights, I offer no entertainment, nothing really beautiful to look at.  But I am checking in and saying good night.  Here's to happy dreams.   Good night.
