January 4, 2026 A year ago today Michael left this plain. I realized I had not seen him in 16 years. The last time was a year after this photo was taken. He came home for our Mother's funeral. And now, after a year of still wanting to hear his take on whatever, I shed a tear seeing his face.

Alright, back on the computer, saved by a friend and back up and working. But first I went to 1st Sunday. It was really a nice event to start off the new year. A lot of people have the flu, kind of amazing how many people called or messaged that they were sick, but we still had 33 people in the audience and 19 readers. Sometimes I wish I could record some and bring them home to hear again, but c'est la vie.
I have no car. Car is gone, sad, but true. So here I am in a January dependent on friends for rides. I have rides to and from the Y and I hope I will find rides to Dr. appointments. I will have to do a grocery shopping pretty soon, but while I figure out what to do next I won't be going very far.
Tom, Mary, and Tristan 10.10.10 at Yves wedding. Tom survived another surgery this weekend. Again this was 16 years ago. Life is so fascinating, Between staying on top of what's happening with Tom right now and Michael's anniversary I looked at a lot of photos from 2009 to 2012. Been a pretty interesting time of it. Anyway, love to my Toleno family. They are all so important to me. And love to my Whiton family who are all feeling the anniversary tonight.
I guess I've decided to keep the blog going, but it's been hard to without the computer and without my normal car rides. I think I can keep up with it though. And I think I can get some photos taken.
