Nowell Sing We Clear, 2008 "Chariots"
I woke up this morning in the mood to listen to music and this popped up. I don't whether it will save on the blog, I think it will. Of course I had it in my brain for the rest of the day and I only a quarter of the words. But I love these guys. I am so glad they were a part of my life. Looking through the comments on this very old UTube, I realized my sister Barbie had left a comment so many years ago. Nice.
Went up to the rookery around 3. It was 35 degrees and the clouds were moving in, the realization that snow is truly the works hit me hard and fast. I both love it and am not ready. We just have to pray I don't run out of oil in the next 48 hours.

We've entered month 12 and we are preparing for the first big snowfall of the year. But this afternoon the chickens at Rising Moon Farm were having themselves a successful graze. They have beautiful roosters.
I have spent a lot of time today wanting to speak to my mother. What brings that on? There's a deep instinct that tells you only your mother would understand. I'm not sure that's true, but it is certainly in play today. Must have been 1975 that I brought Tony and John home to my mother. They were doing a concert in Westport and Mom put them up for a couple nights and fed them. She was really gracious. Jason, Barb and I went to the concert. They stayed a couple nights, I went back to school, but Jace and Barb befriended them. It was lifelong friendship for Jason.
