EJ Worth   Copper plate print
December 16, 2025
I have spent the day full of joy.  I have spent the day receiving and extending love.

Today was EJ's Project Orals for the completion of their Bachelors of Arts Degree from Bard College.  They spent last night doing that etching, going to a party with Nash and enjoying last week of college.
This morning they slept through phone calls and alarms and thank God Nash went and dragged them out of bed and to the orals.  They aced them.  YYAYYAYYAAYYA

I have gotten so much vicarious joy from EJ's last couple of weeks of successes and experiences.  And yes, I do believe it's all been wonderfully miraculous and superb.  I am an overjoyed, over proud Godmother.   You are my bestest and you make my heart sing.

In the middle of all of this excitement Billie texted me and asked me for a prompt so they could write their blog.  It was easy, Miracles, do you believe in miracles.  They responded.  You can read it from the link above.  I am so surrounded by talented young good minds and writers.

It is also Cheyenne Cole's birthday.  Happy Birthday, Cheyenne.   Cheyenne and Billie are both great nieces of mine, cousins of Eliza's and Zoe's, more wonderfully talented family.

T. dropped by and set a date with me to spend real time together. More joy for me.
David brought me a holiday present, new gloves, and not just ordinary gloves, but warm soft gloves. The pointer finger tips come off so you can always take the picture.  So important for me, yes a perfect present for Lindy.

So you can see today was a joyful day.  It was kind of a miraculous day,  If only because I felt so wanting to have my heart open and taking all of it in.  There is so much to tell you that life is ugly, but if you just open up a little more you see it is beautiful  I take in a lot of beauty and gratitude in a day, but I don't always let the joy shine over everything.  Today I did.  Thank you EJ and Nash and Diane.  Thank you Billie and T. and David.  Thank you Jo.  AND everyone else whose smile and moments of kindness penetrated my heart.

I didn't make it down to the river in time to take photos
but David did, so he shared these two with me.   I think they look aboriginal.

An inspiring day.  And now some asparagus and avocado for dinner.

David took the ice pictures and I made it to the graveyard in time for the sunset.  It was cold, I took them with my new gloves on, but through my dirty windshield.
