This was taken a year ago. We had our first major snow storm today I didn't even unlock my door. When I asked EJ what the weather at Bard was like, this was their response.
The snow is falling in sheets
With a chill that cannot be beat
It's cold and it's dry
So when going outside
Perhaps put some shoes on your feets.

It's nice to know that their writing skills are up to the challenge of finishing this project in 6 days. LOL
For some reason this reminds me of my father. I don't know what that says about my Dad's poetry skills. Paulie, did you ever read a poem that Dad wrote, or did he just read your's and mine?
And this is EJ's depiction of Gilgamesh.
It's clear, I did not get photos taken.
I began to clean my altar for the season. I made soup and a huge salad. I organized Writers Read 2026. I chose what I'll read next Wednesday. But I did not take any photos or write anything new.
I wanted to practice drawing beaks. I still may do that. And who knows what else I'll accomplish in the quiet of my home. But it's not going to be an award making Blog day. Thanks to EJ for their creative input.
Good night, world.
