I have to tell ya, these guys sure make good cheese.
I'm totally amazed at how time changes as one acts as though they are retired. I worked yesterday, but basically this week was a bust for my work life and a strike for my personal life, very good friends, and I lost track of time as a sequence or a measuring stick. I have lost track of what day it is, although I will remember to go to the Y tomorrow and that will help put me back on track.
Eli was there, so we got 2 minutes and basically we just spent time looking at the potential gifts and gabbing. Whenever I am surrounded by Annie's work I get inspired to try something new.
Both Clara and I had to go taste cheese.
It was snowing just as we got to Annie's and it snowed until we hit the Massachusetts border on the way home, but it didn't get bad on the roads.
Jo and Clara went to befriend the sheep at the creamery. They're so wonderful. One stared at Jo the whole time we were there. If you stop and actually look at them they are all different and can be pretty funky looking. I have this wonderful little book that Jason made of photos of the sheep on his daily walk. They become characters in the book.
and ate Chinese. It made me a little sick to my stomach, which is rare, but I got over it fast. But I realized it had lost its medicinal qualities for me.
Ok, the end of the long weekend and I hope everyone is home, warm and content in where ever they are supposed to be. One more month of 2025, is that really possible? Have we really gone around the sun another time? I'm glad. I do so much want to still be here, so I am glad I made it one more time. This month is going to be chockfull of events. I hope I sleep well.
