Happiest of happy birthdays my bestest, E J Worth


The many faces of Eirnin J. Worth, the many talents, the many voices of this past 12 months; I honor them all today, their birthday.  I honor their ability to be themself no matter what the circumstances, to respect their self, to honor their place on this earth.  I love their humor and their brain that flies through the air at such a rapid speed.  I love their determination to do something, to make something new, plant grapes, learn the guitar, speak Ancient Greek, write with compassion. I love the fact they can know an entire score to a musical in no time flat or understand the words of the movements of multi roles.   I love them.  They are my bestest, for sure.


I got out of the Y this morning to a phone message from my eye surgeon's office saying that my surgery had been canceled once again.  I feel I'm on a medical merry go round.   And tonight I have a headache so I'm not staying on.   But I had to acknowledge this birthday.  QUARTER CENTURY.

March 20, 2026 Happy Happy Birthday, Clara Witty! Happy Spring.  Oh yes, we're ready for it. The difference between the rookery today and yesterday was big.  I was hoping a photo from each day would show the difference, but it doesn't.  There was much more open space today, but it showed mud not running water.  The running water continues in this stream across the whole thing.   So last night I did begin to think about starting a thread about preparing for death.  In our society that's such a negative statement, but in reality its positive.  Learning to talk about this stage of life, the stage I have just entered is healthy and helpful.   What has brought all this up for me is that I went through a series of tests looking for the cause of the pain I am in and the results are frightening.  They are not immediate, but they show the beginning of the deterioration of my body.  We're not supposed to talk about this stuff, but I had ...

  December 11, 2025 I got to see all three of my siblings this year, what a treat.  Also, I got to see all three spouses, double treat.  I only saw 2 of the next generation and then 4 of the next generation.  I guess we just don't live all that close any more and I have a hard time making it to holidays or doing any traveling at all. It was another day of no photography and no creative writing.  I did get some work done and I did go to LAVA, but my time of loneness was spent organizing the have to's in my life.  I also was in touch with many friends and making sure all were well.  All were well.  So again I offer no insights, I offer no entertainment, nothing really beautiful to look at.  But I am checking in and saying good night.  Here's to happy dreams.   Good night.
