This is not Jiro today, but it's only a couple months old.  Today he came over with David, moved furniture, vacuumed and cleaned off tops of tables.  Together they moved everything away from my windows so that they can all be measured and new windows can be installed.

One of the delights of doing this kind of large almost purge is the little prizes you find.  Here is EJ at about 6 in Florida befriending the giraffes.  They were such gentle creatures.  We are standing on a bridge over the territory and the giraffes are as tall as a second floor.  They never had any worry about feeding animals or being close to them.  I fell in love with this guy, too.

I love how painterly this photo came out today.

I found some Marlboro photos.  I'm kind of amazed at how many photos of myself I've amassed over the last few years as I've tried to put a photographic study of my life together.  I'm not sure what story they actually tell, but it's a lot and its big.

Jo came over at about two and we ate some lunch and Diane joined us for a bit.  Jo packed up all of the things around the kitchen window.  That was the the biggest job left.  The other window to do is up in my bedroom and my bed needs to be moved.  I think Clara and I can complete the job, maybe T. will come by and help.

One thing that was made very clear to me today was I need a website.

I also did not leave the house and I did not take any photos.  I didn't write anything poetic.
I did talk to friends and this huge task was almost completed in front of my face.  I am so so grateful.
