Welcome back, computer.

It's been almost three weeks since I lost the use of my computer and entered a Blog post.   Just recently I found a way to process some of my photos so I have been posting a few on Facebook, but not really.

It's October, the most beautiful month in New England and I have taken some stunning photos this month and shared very few of them.  It's a sad fact.

I also realize that I just haven't been recording my days in my typical fashion.  I haven't even been journaling this month.  It makes no sense except that my world has been topsy turvy and a little quick paced, but full of some good things, including the fall weather.

Geoff and Marcie left a month ago and much has happened.  And I realize I have been very present this month, very in my own shoes and feeling everything.

Life is difficult, I'm not well, I'm in pain, but I'm present and so supported by my community, so extremely fortunate.

I'm also very effected by the national state.  I lose my food stamps this week which is a huge portion of my subsidy.    I won't starve because I am so cared for, but again it makes me so conscious that I am one of the lucky ones.
On another note I've managed to do a few different things this month.  I went and heard my friend, Draa Hobbs's band play the other night with a group of Marlboro friends.  It was really sweet, especially that guitar.  Oh my God, what a great sound.

We've had continuous programming at LAVA,  Last weekend was the Climate Change Theater Festival.   LAVA players read nine plays written by people all around the globe.  It was extraordinary.

We're hanging the Community Art Show this week.  We're hanging 36 pieces of art.  The first year we did it we had 18 pieces of art and like 14 artists.  Makes me smile to think how much people are getting into it.

Last Saturday, Clara, Ash and I went to the Connecticut and did a photo shoot.  It was really fun, we laughed a lot and the light was especially good.  The first photo in today's post is of me that Ash took.  They had their phones and snapped a lot of the interactions between us, which are wonderful.

October has been full and lovely and difficult and loving and caring.  I have written a few poems.  I did a reading in Sutton, Ma which I did post about.  EJ has made me laugh almost everyday.  Patrick went back to Nantucket and I miss him.  Earth keeps circling.  Yup, I'm a lucky one.
