October 4, 2025
Tonight you have 2 poems and pictures of the day.

Crumpled lives

collapsed into each other.

Shared lives

fell apart

shattered,

but so well glued

that after years

they are still touching

still prompted

can still understand.

Blood soaks

bleeds through

against each others’ hearts.

The strength of untainted love

sibling devotion

familiar frameworks

 buckled,

but infiltrates forever.

 More notes to you 3

When we lived together we'd take time

to watch the moon rise,

but now we rush to get everything said in an allotted time.

No time to breathe together

I so like breathing with you

I so like your gentle warmth

Sun is setting on my left

While the moon rises on my right

And an even pink gloe builds from the horizon

I so wish it was your breath I heard

I wish the glow rose around us

You don't reach for my hand The way others do

You don't hold it lightly

If you touch me you make it strong

Others let me know they're by my side

You don't think you need to

And I don't seem to care

The pink of the October sky gets richer

The moon 2 days from being full

I soak in the spirit alone

Trusting in its return tomorrow

Maybe then you'll have the time

to watch it rise and fall in glory.

 And breathe

It was a good day.  Thank you moon, sun and rookery for inspiring me.  Hug to the rest of you who know who you are.
