Full Moon
be still my beating heart.

On my way to LAVA to go to 1st Sunday when I realize the fireman's parade is in the middle of its noise making fun.  I think every vehicle owned by a town in the closest two counties was in this parade with their lights on and sirens blasting.   25 minutes of sitting.  I actually kind of liked it though, even while I got all judgmental about the waste of gas.
It was good group at 1st Sunday.

7 hours later and before the Fair closed for the year, the intersection was friendlier, more conducive to traffic flow.

The moon, oh the lovely moon.   EJ, may I post a video of your singing La Luna?   It was entirely different tonight and at first we thought we would miss it because of the cloud cover.  But patience is a virtue and we demonstrated that tonight.

Patrick pulled out a Nikon from his camera pile with a large telephoto lens.  We didn't get complete control over it, but he did take some photos.  I'll see them tomorrow.

I have Gary's camera and my phone.  I got several OK shots.

Last month it felt other worldly, it felt infinite.  Tonight it felt more grounded in our reality, but still, it's so amazing.   Gorgeous.

Here's hoping Oct's full moon is clear.  By then I will have learned to use Patrick's large lens and we will pull out the tripod.

OK, a new week.  I'll try again to get it right, it's a full one, too, but I am going to be nice to myself.

I have to say I remain so grateful for friends and community.  It makes such a difference.
