This has become another day of the year that I know many people with birthdays.
Happy Birthday, Geoffrey Charles
Tristan
It's Ash's birthday, too, happy b.d. Ash.

These sunflowers are at the foot of Jay's driveway.  They were stunning today.  The sky was so blue and there was a breeze and these guys are tall and perfect.   I did smile in the pool this morning and felt some contentment in the hot tub, but these guys made me grin.

Jay's in good shape.  She's such an inspiration.   I'm glad I saw her today.

The ride to the rookery was short and the sky was beginning to cloud over, but I appreciated the light.  Yellow is the dominant flower color again.  And this tree I think is taking on spirits for the winter.

The beaver pond is perfect for painting at the moment.  The blending of colors is subtle.  I did not see any birds on my ride tonight with the exception of 21 turkeys.  6 is a little early for sunset lighting, but a little late for big activity.

And although the moon had already begun to rise, and would normally have been visible over Rising Moon Farm, all I saw tonight was haze and clouds.   Here comes the storm.

Patrick and I sat in the yard while the sun vanished and then I came in to a bowl of wonderful soup made by T.  Ahhh, love.

And now I am going to bed already.  I have had a compromised week because of a compromised body.  I'm going to take it slow again tomorrow.
