Happy Birthday, Janice.
I was trying to remember what year you moved away.  I moved into this house in '96, I believe.  Had you already married?  I can't remember.  I know Mikey used my moving boxes, so I think that means I lived in this house when you got married.  Amazing how time trips away.  Have you been married almost 30 years?  OMG

I had a hard time getting up and at it, but I was lovingly pushed, urged by my pool pals.  I love my pool pals.  I don't know why I was in pain all night, but I was so it was important to get into that pool and let my body move without too much challenge.

Then I went over to the Bookmill and met Joanna to write.  We wrote an hour and a half.  I'll edit what I wrote and post it in the next couple of days.     It was really nice to just be there.  Another gorgeous day in the Valley.

Then I went over to Migratory Way where they had lifted the dam and the canal was drained.  The birds there tonight were only eagles, vultures and crows.  There's a pattern there.  Usually the ducks and herons stay around, but they weren't there today.

Gonna miss the pool

Terrible sleep

Mother-in-law is slipping away

Father's papers maybe archived

Bathroom reconstruction taking forever

Earthquake woke me up

She looks at trans as though they were her cute puppies

They opened the dam

The eagles are scavenging

He's going to temple

She wants me to pray

All in one day

All underneath the same blue sky

next to, beside the need to cry.

And then up to the rookery, where it was warm, almost looking clouded over, not really though.  The only bird I saw there was a male wood duck.  Couldn't find that heron, either.  Sure was sweet though.  Didn't drive up over the hill, just came home and slowly but surely allowed myself to just be in the dark.  Did anyone catch the sunset?
