Ismene

Tonight's pictures are of the final scene in Jan Maher's Ismene.  I'm not going to tell you what's up. I will say if you live close by come to the performance tomorrow at LAVA at 2.  It is so worth your while.  Everyone involved did a great job.  It is really a great show.

If you don't know who Ismene is, she's Antigone's sister or Odysseus's daughter.   You never hear about her.  Come find out why.

Another thought I had is if you know of a student whose looking for a really good play to do as a senior project, or if you know of a director whose looking to do a really intense story, contact LAVA.  This play needs to be seen.

I need to write a poem about this story.  I really wish there was a way to get it to the "right person."  I feel that way about a few of the plays that have been written by LAVA playwrites.  I'm serious, there are a few that are important, that need to be seen.  If you have any ideas, let me know.  I'm all ears.
