Wednesdays are special days for me because I can let them be all about me.  Not saying I get selfish, but I do focus on care-taking activities.  This one was a good one.

I went to the Y and spent almost an hour in the pool and then I took a long hot tub.  I felt my pool community, I really appreciated them in my life today, recognized what a big difference they make daily.

Then I went to therapy, always good for me, especially following weeks of feeling in pain and trying to resolve that pain in my life.   And I follow Jen's garden.  I love the dying off Black Eyed Susans.  They grab my heart.

Then time at Coop and time with Skyler.  Very good for my soul, very good to, again, embrace my communities,  embrace friendships of all different types.

A nap
The Rookery and
Writers Read.

Bird count was a little different today at the rookery.  I think there was a pair of Black ducks, there were wood ducks, heron, and starlings nearby. The temperature was about 68 and it was still.  The sun was hidden, but allowing for strong contrasting reflections.

And what can I tell you about this grouping, but once again in their differences, within their unique voices was a sameness about family, about love, how we hurt each other sometimes not meaning to.  And the audience was once again special in their ability to truly listen and pick up subtleties that truly make the writers smile.  Thanks you all.  What a great evening.
