The first sunset on Poets Seat with the Nikon.  Very odd sunset, there was only one spot of colors.

A perfect Saturday morning.  It was sooo beautiful.

The show came down.  There were a lot of pieces to it.  There were a lot of bits and corners, tags and yarn. There's still some to be done.

At around 5:30 I started my ride journey through my peaceful spaces.  The rookery was in feeding time, heron, kingfisher and swallows were prominent. There were the usual ducks and quiet, no breeze per se.

I saw no four legged anything up over the hill.  The sun was still up enough to make it feel like day, but boy does the light change at the end of August.

Then for sunset I went up Poets Seat which must have had 30 people on it, mostly families, which is fun.

Again the light is so different, and there is this yellow to purple action that never comes out right in a picture.  But I think I'm getting the hang of the Nikon.  Time to start showing Gary what I've learned.

There was no widespread color, only this patch around the sun.  There were a few other clouds in the sky, but not enough to make a real show.  But it was pretty.

And the evening was almost as perfect as the morning.
