Today was a beautiful summer day.
Gary spent all day here. I think he is motivated to do this kindness by three things; one is to do something wonderful for a friend, two is to care for the trees and the land which he is clearly plugged into and three is once he starts something he cannot stop. He did an amazing amount of work here. I'm blown away.
The second sweet kindness done for me today was T. brought me food including my loved peaches. I had chicken to barbecue so Patrick brought some corn and we cooked a nice dinner outside in my opened up yard. This was our first barbecue of the summer at the house. My body was in so much pain today, but my heart was fed so deeply.
Then we went for a ride in search of sunset, moonrise, bears, peace and shared kindness.
We saw 2 heron tonight, a plover, many kingfisher, swallows and birds everywhere. The goats were out, all the babies in the large pen after supper.
And the moon, she came up bright red. Through the binoculars she was almost spooky. The haze across the entire eastern sky was thick and she shined through it a bright red apple full ball hanging in the middle of an infinite vast area, which is just a tiny minute piece of an infinite vast universe plus.
This is a photo of Patrick taking a photo of the moon. That moon, she was so beautiful, At the end of a beautiful ride he dropped me off at the house, I walked into the kitchen in time to see a mouse run behind the wall of the sink. OK, too many signs of mice, now they have to go. Oh dear, do any of those pouches of scents or makers of noise work or do they have to die?
