Want to guess what kind of bird is sitting on the limb above the heron's right side?

I had an extra special day today.  Dave Henry brought me to The Marina for lunch.  We went early so we'd have plenty of time to eat and make it to a play by 3.   We were talking away when David looked at the time and realized we'd been blabbing away for almost 2 hours and we had to get to the theater.  We made it to our seats just as the lights went up.
The play was really good.  It was written by the man who is interested in doing my play.  I really liked both his writing and his directing.  The leads were so consistent and maintained their energy throughout a very long play.  Anybody near Williamsville, Vt. who likes theater should check it out next weekend.   They really did a good job.

I got home just before the sunset was starting so I decided to run up the hill.  I immediately had one of those moments that bring you into the now.  I came around the corner just before the goats and a doe and a fawn with a very long white tail ran in front of me.  I stopped and the mom ran back across the road.  She stopped at the edge waiting for her kid to follow her but he was hiding from me behind a bush.  I talked to them for a couple seconds and then slowly rolled by so as not to frighten anyone too much.  They were so cute, so real, making me be nowhere else but right there with them.

Got to the top of the hill where I could see west just at peak.  It was not a giant sunset, but more delicate, prettier.

It was a good weekend.  I feel very peaceful tonight even after seeing a pretty heavy play.   Yeah, pretty peaceful...
