Patrick and I could smell the salt water once we got to the New Hampshire coast. We left a couple of hours late, but we made it and it was easier being in a moving car with open windows than sitting in humid still air.
Lobster for dinner, with clams, how much better can you get than that? You can't. That's the best.
I love harbors, I love boats. I'm really sad about not having a camera, but I am going to work on poetry and my manuscript instead of focusing on photos. Phone photos will have to do, tomorrow it is my pen that will be my tool of choice.
Tug boats, schooners, yachts, fishing boat, sweet sweet small craft, and reflections. The colors were not spectacular tonight, they were more subtle, due to the heat and maybe wild fires. I like the colors gentle, passive and soothing. When I woke up this morning, soothing was not what or how I would have described my day. As I finish the day I will claim soothing.
