Ash is one of my new heroes
Jo and I set up a table in the park during the book vendor time. It was 88 by mid afternoon and sunny, but enough of a breeze to make it all right to be out there. We sold nothing. We had a lovely summer afternoon and didn't make a penny. I have to find some new ways to sell the book.
We went over to the Cove for a LAVA staff get together. Good turn out and great people. This I feel grateful for, people who I continue to learn from while creating programming that supports all sorts of artists.
I also love the Cove, it will always mean kids to me, starting with BBQs with Jason and picnics with Margie's kids and all sorts of kids throughout my 48 years in Greenfield. And feather hunts with EJ. I did no work at this party, I just socialized and ate nice food. And watched the sun go down, what more could I want?
I brought a little steak, someone brought portabella mushrooms and together with all sorts of other things to share we had a very good meal. Yessirreebob.
I have to figure out my camera situation. I took everything with my phone today and I threw out a lot of photos. I took several of Jo and Skyler listening to music but I couldn't see what I was taking really. I got a lot of Jo's ankle and Skyler's shoulder and not their huge smiles listening to Paul's political commentary. Oh well, I did begin a poem while sitting there and I was very happy being in my writing community. Jo thought there were about 60 people there. Most everyone was sitting in the shade across the park from us, but a few stragglers came over to look.
Anyway, I have to figure out a way to pedal the book and I have to fix the camera.

Gorgeous sunset. Gorgeous space. Great company. again, what more could I ask for?
