Happy Anniversary Matt and Annie.
Back to having no right leg. Lots of pain today so I was not able to participate at all in the NO KINGS protest. They're saying close to 3000 people came to town today. The march went for at least 45 minutes past the Coop window. I watched and snapped photos. It was wonderful, warming. An older woman was sitting near me and she just kept saying, "Amazing" and she cried, waved and grinned at everyone passing by.
It was peaceful and it was community, and the major protests was against a tyrant, against a small group of people who believe they have the right to take over and do it their way, a way that benefits them only. I read comments about protesting dishonoring our military, and it had nothing to do with that at all. It was pro due process and a government for and by the people who are allowed nonviolent congregating on public land to speak their opinions.
Di, EJ and Dave H. came and ate salmon asparagus and strawberries with me. I needed normality and that was a perfect example of it, my whacky friends in conversation. Thanks guys.
