Happy Birthday, Gerard McGovern.
People usually see Gerard's name in reference to being the photographer, tonight I got to photograph him with a merengue nipple.  Not bad.  And I was included in a birthday celebration at Hope and Olive.

It may be that i just think everyone has a special story and that there really are a lot of many special things about the people I am surrounded by daily.

Today was Bee Fest in Greenfield, one of my favorite events.  Before I opened up at LAVA, Jo and Kemah got out the cafe tables and the sidewalk chalk and engaged passersbys in drawing bees.  Officer Zoe joined us for a bit, several kids added their talents to the walk, and Charlie made sure the bees had enough flowers.
It actually was a long day, but we got a lot accomplished.  By 4 I thought maybe I'd faint, but I didn't.  And I got a second wind to meet the McGovern family for dinner at 7:30,  But now I have to sleep.

I will call Paul and EJ back tomorrow.  I will have a leisurely Sunday and be bright and upbeat to go to a concert tomorrow evening.

Sunday afternoon concerts used to be the norm when I was a kid.   OMG what a different world we lived in.
