RIP
Tim Little.
Reading people's memories of Tim is such a sweet experience.  I have a few stories about Tim from over the years.  I'm never quite sure if these stories are interesting to anyone but me, but I agree with the majority of my fellow Marlboro community that Tim was a constant and a kind fixture in our Marlboro lives.
Tim was a really good bridge player and we liked the same music to play bridge by.  We were good partners.  A really good game of bridge was with Trudy Putnam, Dan Woodbury and Tim Little. I think people were afraid I wouldn't make it through my first year because we played so much bridge. Late nights in Tim's apartment or Trudy's house were a major highlight of my years.
I also was on the Admissions Committee under Tim and went to several admission's events in New England with him.  I drove with him to the one in my hometown of Wilton, Ct. to do a small gathering at the Cloutier's home.  We drove in a snowstorm there and back and talked about all of the important things in life, including bridge.  We also found out we shared the Walter Trampler family, both of us with ties from other venues.
And later on when I taught for Tom Toleno at Marlboro, Tim's and my offices and classrooms were next door.   I would lead these participatory activities in my classes and have students in small groups drawing or building or debating stuff all over Dalrymple and Tim would come to his office and climb over students and get pulled into the activities.  One day after a class he came in to tell me he loved listening to them, they would be so animated about whatever.  They'd all come back and sit around the big table and explain their group's documentations.  My classes may have been a little noisy, but Tim encouraged it.  I always felt confident with Tim around.
He lived a good long life and he was more than a good man.  I know he will be missed by many.

What I did yesterday was go out to dinner with some friends of Dave H.'s who work with a community theater group in Vermont that produces a lot of local writers work.  I brought a copy of my manuscript and the video and had a really interesting discussion with him about their producing it in 2026.  It was kind of overwhelming, but not completely.  It was extremely positive and proceeded to breathe life back into that project.  Very cool.  We'll see what becomes of it.  Keep your fingers crossed  and check out Rock River Players in Williamsville, Vt.

Today I got laundry done, visited with Skyler and went for a very short ride to the rookery.    It was 57 degrees at 6pm.  It was very quiet, I saw very few birds, no turtles and nothing with 4 legs until I got to the pastures and found the cattle out finally.

The pastures are like green velvet at the moment. They make you want to go out and feel them.  Once you are close you see they are sprinkled with white, yellow and purple flowers.
