April 26, 2025.
I have so much to share tonight. I decided to cancel all of my plans today and just zero in on my writing. It's been a wonderful day. But the first thing I wanted to share with people is Billie's Blog.

I think I already mentioned that they were interviewed about their artwork in a magazine recently. They have that linked to their website. You can also read their blog. I love today's post.
It poured today. I sat in the car in the driveway for awhile before I went into the house.
I wrote at the rookery for about an hour. I'm working on some couplets. I wrote a poem, too, or at least the first draft of a poem while I watched the life in the pond. The young muskrat was really exploring and he startled the turtles and himself when he tried to climb upon the log.
There was actually a lot of splashing going on. It's funny to watch the ducks play in the rain. They really are happy in this weather. It was about 53 at 4.
The bird list on Merlin was extensive, but I only saw ducks, red winged b.b., and a swallow. I'm beginning to recognize the red bellied woodpecker's call. I knew he was there.
do you know that color when you try to paint with a very thin black watercolor? That color that falls between grey, black and mauve? That's what tonight's sunset did; it was as though someone took a watercolor brush with black ink and smeared it across the sky. And now it is charcoal grey.
Check out Billie Mae's blog tonight and watch for my new collection of blank cards with selections of art from the Descendants of Henri Bouche, 5th generation. It will begin with Billie Mae. Eliza is visiting tomorrow. I'll get her to make me something for the set.
