Tonight you all get a photo blog.
My day started off in a fog, my brain was fuzzy and I felt like I needed to crawl back into bed for good. But I made myself get in the pool, which felt entirely too cold to me, but really wasn't. I worked out hard in hopes that the movement would clear my head. It kind of worked.
Banged into, you? I said quietly. I stopped the car, got out to look at his bumper of steel. I asked him to show where he thought I hit him. "Here" he says pointing to the lower step below his bumper. I could not see a mark. I said, "where?", he says "HERE"
A woman came out of the Y and asked me if I needed help as I was trying to find my registration. I told her yes, could she photograph our bumpers? Could she see where I had hit him? She could not, and she pointed out that there was no mark on the back of my car, either. She wrote me a statement and gave me her phone number. She was great.
I gave him my information and said I wasn't trying to evade anything but I truly could not see any mark on either car. He took my information and said his company would be back in touch. The scene did throw me back off. Oh well.
I did go for my rookery ride at about 4. It was 27 at the rookery and partly sunny. I found no birds today. I sat and wrote for a half hour, but I couldn't collect the right story to tell you all next. So I'll just give you these extra photos tonight for you to enjoy.
I am glad I have a gentle weekend in front of me. There is another storm on its way tomorrow night. Apparently it will bring more snow than the last few. Sunday will be a gorgeous photo day. I'll go over to the canal and look for eagles. It is their month.
