About 7 inches of snow accumulated yesterday and around ten, Jo picked me up to take me to breakfast. The prints in the driveway and in the yard were very telling and because the snow that fell during the night was heavier it had concentrated all that snow in a regular pattern. The tree was bowed down almost to the ground. It was wonderful looking
It felt great to leave the house. It had been 46 hours, I was a little stir crazy, but not bad because I got so much done.
The GoFundMe has been so successful. I am so very pleased and appreciative. It looks like I will have my car on Wednesday. It's so sweet and remarkably kind of so many people.
In November on Writers Read night, only one of my readers showed. One who didn't make it had to accompany his wife to the hospital after a fall and the other had been taken off by an ambulance and no one knew to inform me. Eric died this weekend. He's been so very sick these past couple of months. I got word this morning that he passed. Poets have been leaving us this week

Enough of trying to figure this site out. Why is it giving me a hard time tonight? I don't seem to have control over my formatting.
The snow was a real snow, it is actually truly winter out there. I love how it hangs on the spruce's boughs. I believe on of the sets of prints was bear, another squirrel and rabbit. Kids were sledding in the neighborhood. That hasn't happened since the Newton and Reiff kids were young. I love the sound.
Tomorrow I will wake up to the electricians coming to do work on the house. I won't make it to the Y, but I think it will start off another full week. Now I'll go to my book and bed.

Before Eric fell ill he was a regular presence at 1st Sunday, traveling from the central part of the state to read and be a part of this community. He is too young to have left us and my heart goes out to his family and our fellow poets. He will be missed.
